About NMBA
Nepal Microfinance Bankers' Association (NMBA), registered at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu in 2006, is a non-profit, member-based organization. It is a network of the Class "D" microfinance financial institutions (MFIs) licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and also the apex body of the MFIs. The purpose of NMBA is to promote the microfinance sector and establish conducive environment for client and staff protection. NMBA works closely with regulators and key stakeholders to achieve the broader goal of financial inclusion of the poor and deprived class through microfinance services.
